Leighann Daristotle

Leighann Daristotle received her BS in Animal Science from West Virginia University, DVM from The Ohio State University, and MS and PhD in Veterinary Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her career in veterinary medicine has spanned working as an associate veterinarian as well as teaching anatomy and physiology to veterinary students. She is a former Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Journal of Veterinary Research, as well as coauthor of Canine and Feline Nutrition, 3rd Ed. During her tenure with The Iams Company/P&G Pet Care, she was responsible for helping pet owners and veterinarians better understand dog and cat nutrition and the science behind pet food. Dr. Daristotle is currently the owner of Country Lane Consulting, Veterinary & Scientific Communications.
