The joys of husky pawrenthood are many. As with most things in life—except wine, ice cream and Ryan Gosling—even huskies have their minor drawbacks.
Huskies shed and they shed a lot. Especially during the warmer months when they “blow their coat.” This shedding of their thick undercoat results in massive heaps of fluffy, cotton candy-esque fur everywhere you can imagine.
Brushing your husky regularly—especially when they are blowing their coat—helps to greatly reduce the risk of finding fluff in your food. Unfortunately, it won’t save you from all the vacuuming, but aren’t those gorgeous blue eyes worth it?
These 22 photos of huskies shedding definitely give a new meaning to the word “hairball.” See for yourself.
I love this photo. In my mind Chloe is thinking something like, “What? They told you not to feed me after midnight.”
This is both a little creepy and cool at the same time.
14. @ms_michelleann Holy moly, my allergies are having a field day just looking at this!
Hopefully, this isn’t (or is…I’m not here to judge) the neighbor’s yard.
